Terms of Service for HD Eyes Ltd

1. Overview

This website is operated by HD Eyes Ltd. By visiting our site and/or purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

2. Eligibility and Age Restrictions

HD Eyes Ltd does not supply prescription glasses to persons under the age of 16. * By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 16 years of age.

  • We do not accept orders for prescription eyewear intended for use by anyone under the age of 16.
  • We reserve the right to cancel any order and request proof of age if we have reason to believe the customer or end-user is under 16.

3. Customer Obligations & Prescriptions

By submitting an order, you confirm:

  • You are not registered blind or partially sighted.
  • You possess a written prescription from a qualified practitioner obtained within the last 24 months (or 12 months if aged 70+).
  • You will supply accurate details of your prescription. HD Eyes Ltd is not responsible for visual inaccuracies resulting from incorrect data provided by the customer.

4. The HD Eyes Hybrid Advantage

As an added advantage of our physical store presence, if you are not happy with the comfort or prescription of your glasses:

  • We welcome you to our premises at Unit 8 Birchfield Way, Telford, TF3 5BZ for professional frame adjustments.
  • We offer in-store prescription rechecks even if your original prescription was provided elsewhere.
  • Refund Condition: Please note that refunds will only be made upon the physical receipt of goods at our premises.

5. Right to Use the Site & Intellectual Property

HD Eyes Ltd owns or licenses all materials on this site (text, images, logos). You may use the site for lawful personal use only. Commercial reproduction is strictly prohibited without our express written consent.

6. Limitations of Supply

We reserve the right to refuse any order. On the advice of our Dispensing Opticians, we may:

  • Request a copy of your written prescription.
  • Contact your optician to verify details.
  • Cancel the order if the required information is not provided within 30 days.

7. Prices and Payment

Prices include VAT. If an item is mispriced, we will contact you before processing payment. For international orders, local import VAT remains the responsibility of the purchaser.

8. Delivery

We endeavour to dispatch goods as quickly as possible. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier. Please inspect goods promptly upon arrival.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HD Eyes Ltd shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss arising from the use of the site. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 remain unaffected.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England. The courts of England have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
